Just got done greasing my front wheel bearings. Kind of a messy job, but has to be done every year.

Sorry I do not know, I know it is not a CM or Hildebrand. There are no tags/ID plates or marking what so ever. It came on a 4wd 79 F150 parts truck I got over in Paola Ks a while back.

I lined them all up and took a picture, I think I might have a problem.

Bump's, dent's, 3 wheelers, flat bed's, soft top Bronco, a boat, no problem IMO.

Its not a "problem" until your NONE FTE friends send you to a NONE sanctioned or supported FTE "meeting".

What is up with the yard cannon?

Finally got the nutserts marked, drilled and installed for the mirrors. Not a job I was looking forward to. Had some NOS Ford nutserts and they were a pain to try and pull! Went to the local hardware store and bought some 1/4”x 20 steel nutserts and they pulled way way way easier! Don’t know what the factory ones are made of but man they pulled hard. Ruined two practicing before I drilled the door. Had I started on the door i would be in a bad way right now as they stripped the threads on both NOS Ford ones as I pulled them tight. The new ones went right on with just a little bit of fight in them. One more thing down.

I got the seat cover on today.

New flow kooler water pump

Fixed a leaking power steering return hose.

I ordered new door seals from PRP.
I got one on but man now the door is so much harder to close.

I also ordered a supercooler radiator 3 row Aluminum.
Fan shroud with 4 Spal fans.

Got an Auto Cool Guy electric fan controller setup

Not sure when the radiator items will go on
Soon I hope.

It’s a Spud cannon made out of scrap metal. I catch myself looking a more projects for sale on market place. Like I need another f250 found a nice super camper special. Definitely a project but looks like a solid truck. I keep telling myself I don’t need it but I want it. Better than a drinking habit I suppose but what do I know. Lady at the dmv looks at funny every time I go.

Just to chime in. I changed the oil in my 77 F100. I was disappointed in my local NAPA as they didn't stock Motorcraft parts. The counter guy said Ford and NAPA had a falling out and no Motorcraft. So I have a NAPA filter for my first oil change. They also didn't have a great selection of motor oil. So I used their brand 10w40. Next time I will order better stuff.

I also came across an unusual pan bolt. Is this factory?

That looks like an after market bolt for striped drain plug threads.

Sanded some more. Pretty tired of sanding, lol. It stinks to be so close to paint but so far away. This is the spot in the project that will make or break the finish on the paint though. As bad as I wan to say it is good to go I just keep blocking and priming. Each time I find less and less to fix.

JY find

Ford topper. Back window operates correctly. Has the 2 metal plates to hold the compasses.
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...a8089310e3.jpg
Will someone please zoom in on the seam for the topper window, is this the correct kind of seam material? Or was this window suppose to be a 1 piece? This yard also has the Ford topper with the side sliders. $40 for the both sides.

Bought a (I believe) stainless steel grill guard. No pics yet.
