Installed a new 7 pin trailer wiring connector. Just waiting for the brake controller to show up before I start a new thread on the install.

Pulled one of my rear 9 inch axles and found out I have 28 spline axles. My 4 retainer plate nuts are 3/4 inch and the bolts are 1/2 inch, any body know the torque value?

Been working on the front axle for about a week now. Pulled it to do new bushings and inner seals.

Since we are waiting on a new spring cup we decided to paint almost everything we've pulled off.

Radius arms, radius arm caps. axle, springs, spring seats etc...

Old axle seal

Got the old seals out tonight. Plan tomorrow is to clean the tubes, install new seals and button it all up.

If my part comes in tomorrow afternoon, will also start with busing install and getting the axle back under the truck.

Removed this crap from the driver's side vent.

A month or so ago, I had to replace the heater core. While doing so, I removed the vent plate on the passenger side. I removed more than a handful of debris.

The drivers side required that I first remove the emergency brake, which then allowed me access to the mounting screws. After removing the vent assembly, once again, I pulled all this debris out of the vent well.

Fortunately, there was no rust in either of the wells.

Radius arm bushings
Painted as much as we could

Next up is to finish fitting/trimming the vinyl flooring and figure out why the Carter 1bbl wants to leak. And install front drive shaft.

Bit the bullet and replaced that weak, leaking power steering pump. What a difference. Money I didn't have well spent.
