Fitted the tub after cutting off the very dodgy towbar that someone welded poorly to back of the chassis

I think someone did some dodgy paint selection too Big Bird yella and Barney purple! Ha ha just kidding - won't miss that in a parking lot. I never realized that the wipers sweep the wrong way when the steering wheel is on the yonder side.

I replaced the broken plastic tailgate release rod clips inside. the tailgate. Woo hoo, I can open my tailgate again.

Starter Bolts

My starter made a funny noise yesterday when I started the truck, when I got home and crawled underneath the truck.....one starter bolt was missing and the second was about half backed out.....a miracle that it was engaging at all. I made a run to Lowes and replaced the bolts, washers, and nuts (with nylon locking nuts this time) and it is working fine now.

buttoned the front end up...

I took a two year hiatus from my truck while I was out driving OTR. Finally got the front suspension swapped and it is now sitting back on the ground after two years. I still need to replace the drag link, but it is otherwise where it can be driven around the shop and moved.Feels so damn good to at least get that far. Now I have to bump my build thread, and get back on the horse as the saying goes. Can't wait!

Brought this home today. This is what $500 buys you in eastern Canada! Body rotten and sitting on frame, frame thin behind rear axle, good running gear though

Picked up a set of OBS door seals off a 94 F150 from the wrecking yard today and installed them. Doors close with a nice solid sound now and LOOK like they seal much better than the worn out seals I had with the extra layer of foam tape. The next rain storm will tell the truth though. Honesty, there is no way they can be any worse.
