i went into an autozoo one time for a T-15 torx driver. the kid asked what i was working on so i told him a 1941 VW beetle with diesel engine. he told me we don't have that.
as the store manager was shaking his head.
i said what is that behind you. he said a screwdriver.
so i told him to just give me the screwdriver that had T-15 ion it and i would be happy.

My nephew use to work at Advance Auto and he new his stuff. He has been wrenching in his dad garage and Drag Racing since he was 8 years old. Since he left it is like pulling teeth to get parts.

Well boys, I have the opportunity to buy another OBS PSD.

I actually went to a dealership last week to look at one, but I was too upside down on my Harley to trade. It was a pretty decent truck, but it had a pretty hefty lift and some 35"+ tires (I think 37s). I dont care to have that big of a truck, especially to pull a camper

My gfs cousin still has his, and I actually thought he sold it til I went to his house the other day and saw it parked out back. I asked his dad if it was still for sale and he said, "Yup, he hasn't been very proactive on trying to sell it but its going back on the market soon." I figure since Ill want it now, itll sell lol. I just cant decide if I should try to buy it right now or try to sell the Harley F-250 first....

Has anyone noticed I go through vehicles like crazy? Lol

I say buy it. It may be gone by time you sell the harley

Try having a 94.

"what motor do you have?"

The F motor.

"Yeah. I got a 4.9, a 5.0, a 5.6 and 7 point 3.s
Which motor is it?"

F motor.

"so its a turbo diesel?"

The one that says F motor.

"oh yeah, right here."

I get that one a lot.
3 different 7.3's for the 94.
Powerstroke is F motor.

The reason they ask all those questions, stupid as they were.

Lets use an example above.

I need a window motor.

"okay, anything else?"

Yeah, I need a u-joint for the front drive shaft.

if he put in 2wd, he now has to exit out of everything and start over.

I hate it too as well as you all, but it's not a stupidity on their part, its just how you enter the stuff in.

It's like dialing a phone number, you gotta enter in all the digits to connect.
you cannot just dial part of it.

That Ford is sweet...

I just checked when I listed the 6.0l on craigslist. Put it up originally March 2nd and I haven't got a single email about it...

I just drove up on this. My neighbor forgot to set his e-brake.... LOL. I couldn't see any way to pull him out myself with out screwing up a bunch of stuff. That's a creek that the truck fell into and there is a really big culvert pipe that the truck is sitting on right now. A wrecker is on the way.

That sucks. Atleast it stopped before going swimming

strokin'_tatsch 04-07-2014 01:01 PM

There isn't any water in that part of the creek anyways. Lol
