Welcome to FTE! Lots of good people here, and often willing to help!

When you get a chance, post up some pictures-we love pictures...

And when you get ready to install that lift, post up some pics or any questions you may have in a build thread of your own. No extra charge!

Picked up remflex header gaskets. Now have everything on the shelf to put my new power master starter in

Cant beat those Remflex header gaskets..... I did have to re-torque, but just once and no leaks....

What's the difference between those and something that Felpro makes?

I'm running under the assumption that Felpro makes the highest quality ________ (insert gasket here).

Remflex is at least twice as thick as Felpro gaskets, they are designed to be a crushable gasket which helps with any uneven wear. I just used some on a buddies 352 and they are awesome I won't use anything else especially on the FE motors

I took my brand new set of BBK headers cut one of the tubes on the driver side and I welded it back together to clear the steering box. No more exhaust leaks for me.

Installed a new to me dash pad amd guage cluster. I had to drive an hour for them but only paid 35 dollars for the whole dash complete! I gave it a bath too. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...ed32859b11.jpgNew to me dash

good score on the dash - I need a couple for mine...

Great score on the dash.looks great. Papa bear have you looked at the dash pad caps that glue onto the original dash? I know they are a half a$$ fix but I bought one and it looks great can't really tell it's on except where us messed up. They are inexpensive also. Just a thought

thanks for the suggestion, Justin. I've seen them, but they're about $100, in black, as I recall. I've got the dashmat covers on all three trucks, and the cracked two don't bother me as much now :)

however, if I spot a deal on a tan or brown pad, I'll be on that like a bear on his honey!

Continued working on the engine bay, frame rails and firewall. Also started cleaning up the junkyard headers I bought.

Hopefully finished up with brake work for a while!

A couple or few weeks ago, I put in new wheel cylinders, which of course ended up including the two metal lines to the axle-vent junction block, and motored on. Well, the other night, I had the pedal go to the floor but lock up the rears, so I picked up a reman master cylinder from O'Reilly's. I put that on yesterday along with new lines to the proportioning/metering valve, but realized that I needed new front pads, so I grabbed some, and put them on today.
Turns out the pads were all at about 45%-50% worn, but the driver side inner had the friction material come apart.
I took it for a test drive, and the brakes feel great! A basic F150 Custom Dent, with the six cylinder engine and probably zero options, has some pretty darn decent brakes - at least unloaded...

And then last week, I had my buddy's '96 E150 here for a couple of days, while I replaced every brake line from the wheel cylinders all the way up to the short metal line coming out of the antilock module.

Maxed out the limits of my hoist putting the motor in. Getting close.

Been cussing my truck since I'm having issues with the core support but I "decorated" the garage with a flag. It's covering some of my extra dentside parts
