Hey Bruce I have been by Fort Campbell a few times that is a big base.

I have been down that way a couple times, but never on the Fort. Bruce, you should have paid me a visit, I was 2 years old in 1966.

You are lucky you didn't get drafted back then! I was 22 and married, thought I was in the clear. I had gone to Europe for six months and, get this, I failed to get permission from the selective service agency. The FBI looked me up when I got back, and I told them what I thought of that whole thing. Which might have had some effect on my draft status.

OK, what kind of MOS did you get from ait at Dixx?

My parents got married in 1962, and my Dad was drafted shortly there after. While he was at his physical, President Kennedy said they were no longer going to draft married men, so my Dad did not have to enter.
