My '73 is too easy to slide. Even the 360 (a little warmed up but likely had a dead cylinder), would spin the tires out to third from a dead stop. The 395 cu in 390 with a punchy cam will really be something. Nothing more fun than sliding around a deserted hicktown at 1 AM. Managed to get a good slide out of my bronco too, believe it or not.

Don't get me wrong, me too. It's just that there was a car behind me and one in front. It caught me by surprise.
The truck is so reluctant to turn a tire, that I'd given up even trying...

I need a lift, the up and down getting under the truck is wearing on this old man

Almost cheaper to get a old style pit dug and concrete or block lined. No matter what something is going to hurt at the end of the day, neck, back, knees, shoulders.

I am looking into a old style car lot display ramp, it is 3 1/2 ish off the ground.

PapaBearYuma, what size tires you running on that beast? I love the stance of it.

Thanks! The tires are 33x12.5-16.5 BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA KOs from Discount Tire. They're getting harder to find but I think they still produce them in limited runs.

I bought the slotted mags from a guy on ebay. They're 9.5x16.5 - and they barely clear the calipers.

Found that my fender got knocked over by the wind. Going to have to repaint it.

Water

Had big plans to drive the truck since I started rebuilding in July.... But 2 feet of snow + 50 degrees suddenly changed my priorities.... waking up every 2 hours to run pumps so the crawl space and well house don't flood sucks a$$... Maybe next week the truck will get its maiden voyage :(

Drove her around, shoveling driveways for my buddies that are out to sea. And sliding around in the snow for the fun of it. :-jammin I think I got to do some investigating why my 4wd isn't working when it warms up.

Got more bits of transmission stuff installed. All that's left is bending new cooling lines and tying them into the new plate cooler.
