At work we have a 2012 ford f250 plow truck. It has the 6 speed trans and 4 WD plus a locking diff. No problems with the truck at all. Very smart transmission great power. The truck gets 10 to 11 mpg city and all the way to Michigan @ 70 mph cruise set it got 12 mpg. Hope this helps

it should be around the 5.4 mpg, i would not mess with modding because that hurts the mpg and will cost you more having to us 93 fuel. i have a v-10 with 430 gears and i get 16 empty to highway as long as i stay 65 and below. there is no cons at all, you will get a great truck with good engine

I drive a 2011 f350 4x2 with 3:73 axle.It has a maranda work cap which is 6' tall on the back.Weighs 9700lbs with all my service gear in it.It averages about 625 km per tank combined city highway.best to date has been over 800km(500 miles).Damn good for a gas pot ! Has almost 40,000 miles on it
