Dewd- Color looks great!
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...1dd796e541.jpg Started tearing into the motor as I don't trust the PO(S). New Weiand intake that he installed had every bolt loose. Wasn't happy when I found green in the first oil change (soon after I got it home). Not a lot, but enough. Figured I might as well do the water pump since I had everything else apart to reseal the intake. Will do the oil pan gasket (read:inspection) and trans fluid change when I'm done on the top end. And I'm tired of standing on a ladder to work on this thing. She's getting the front tires removed and going on jack stands to the frame. :'( |
Thanks ML-150!
I could swear I have rearranged my ribs by leaning over the edge of my tall truck for too long. |

What I did today, worked on backup lights. Still not working. Someone suggested the NSS. Found it on the trans and it has about 7 pounds of gunk and stuff on it. Need to power wash it and see if that helps. Also read 79 pages in my 1989 Haynes manual. From page 1thru 79. I found some I interesting things.

Wire it to a wire bundle and then wrap it with black elec tape. |
My truck is never locked unless it looks like a bad neighborhood. I always take my keys with me, tho. Someday semi-soon I'm going to add power lock actuators. I need to find me a set I like, and figure out what to wire then to first XD

Problem is, it's my 2011, not my '73. If it was my '73, I'd have used the vent window to get in XD

So go get a spare door key cut and then hide it under the hood or under the truck somewhere. And NOT in one of those hide-a key always seems to fall off box either.

That's what I did, got some metal wire and a o-clamp and put it on my kick down rod going to the tranny, no one can see it and if need be I can get to it pretty easy.

Well yeah lol 2011 makes it a different story. Have you look at adding one of these? I'm looking to do it on my 03. Just attach it anywhere and it acts like a keyfob. I've seen people put in on the toolbox, on the inside of the bed rail, etc
