WOW!! Great looking truck.

My front fenders are that color.:)

Today I swapped around some wires so now I have hazards front and rear, brake lights and running lights! No turn signals though...

I put my new license plates on today! Now I'm messin' with the padded dash cover, so I can figure how to pull one easily at the junk yard.

Once you pull the instruments, there are just a bunch of little nuts holding it on underneath. There is half a dozen or so, make sure you get all of them.:-X22

X2 on remove dash bezel, instrument cluster and glove box. 1/4 dv ratchet with a 1/4 or 11/32 socket?

2 close (pretty much side by side) together on the far left and far right. If you have a/c vents on the passenger side pop them out, (the flaps and the surround case). Also pop out the environmental control outer square bracket... to have lots of room. Leave cable hooked up, just pull the whole thing out and let it hang by the cables and elec connections.

9 or 10 all together?? Also one on the dash center drop tip and then evenly spaced another 4?

RaventreeJohn 02-18-2016 12:04 AM

Thanks, I got four out, the two on each corner and started looking for the ones closer to the center . Lots of stuff in the way. Eatin' dinner sounded like a better option so I'll continue tomorrow.......

Finally got around to working on my box, I've been saying for two months now, so it's about time. I moved the stake pockets and pulled the dents out back.

Wired up the windshield wipers.

Nothing big, just finally took my truck for a first drive. :-jammin
I finally got everything street legal last week and was waiting for good weather and some spare time (just in case I had to tow it back home). Fortunately, there was no need for such things. She's road worthy, but not by much on the steering. That will be the first project I work on. I have to swap steering as part of my disk brake conversion anyways.

Finally got around to buying new shock absorbers for the old gal (nice set of KYB's for all corners). Gotta admit, it's long over due, but time and money and all that jazz.

mountain dewd 02-26-2016 09:45 PM

Wired some dash lights and indicators.
