Wonder if this was a Ranger, or “just” a Siebert passenger van conversion. Whichever, it’s a crying shame. Stu

Not all that long ago, I read somewhere here on FTE that Marmon-Herrington did the 4WD conversions, but Siebert did the Ranger body conversions.

Siebert was in the "Professional Car" conversion biz, besides the Rangers, converted series 75 Cadillac's to Ambulances and Hearses.

But thru the early 1950's, more Packard's were converted than any other make. Conversion was done exclusively by the Henney Motor Car Co of Freeport IL

Folks,
I guess I have a couple I could add to the pile. I have posted these in another thread but I think they fit well here too! Although not totally abandoned they are far from road worthy. Not mine!

Chris - is that 55 somewhere close to you in NWPA? If it is, that means it would be close to me as well, and I'd like to find and talk to the current owner.

Hi Jake, welcome to FTE the best Ford truck forum on the World Wide Web!

I too am from PA, east and South from you in Clinton county. I too have a 55 F350 (and a 54 F100).

Start a new thread and introduce yourself and show us pictures your truck.

Found a cool pic and thought I would dig this old thread up to post. Kind of neat yard art.

The city I live in would never allow that. That would definitely be an ordinance violation.

It may be beautiful yard art, but somehow I find it a little disturbing. All I can see is that poor truck throwing up. :-X13
