Well Discount Tire at Cottonwood came thru with the new load range Es. BFG 285 75R16 AT -s 4 of them mounted, balanced, out the door for $596. Hella deal!! It's too bad Discount Tire had to eat it where Michelin would not. DT didn't have to give me a deal at all but they did. It would have easily been over $900 for those meats at regular price. I am also out the $165 for the one I bought in Tucson. They took the tire back and counted that in the final price to get it down under $600.Michelin actually sent me back the shredded tire because they wanted me to see the puncture they found which voided my warranty claim. Turns out the puncture was caused by running over the loose steel threads from the carcass after the tire exploded!! There were wire shards still in the hole from the steel threads in the tire. They didn't even pull them out!! How they couldn't put 2 + 2 together on that one is anybody's guess. I guess I'll be back on the phone with those idiots again today!!
