Joshua0606 02-11-2008 08:35 AM

Its real good. Kind of like gar and buffalo, you just gotta to know how to clean it.

67nukeford 02-11-2008 08:36 AM

I'll leave the cleaning to you guys....I just want to eat it!

Hey Tangi Cowboy-

Bamboo huh?
I am helping my parents do some overhauling on their place and we are talking about planting bamboo inside of the fenceline to make a barrier to all the new construction that is going on and to increase privacy.
Any suggestions for our bamboo project? I know nothing about it except what I learned while "sword-fighting" with it as a kid, and most of that had to do with splinters.

That's a nice gator!

That is one of the best eating things I've ever had!

Tangi Cowboy 02-11-2008 04:17 PM

There are many different species, but they break down to a clump type or a runner type, you would probably want the clump type for a fence barrier like you are talking about, try this web site, this is one of our members of the Gulf Coast Chapter of American Bamboo. www.bambooplantation.com he is in Brookhaven, MS
