Had a buddy "suggest" I get some diamond plate and install it in the underside of the hood...between the "support beams" not sure what you call them. Sounds interesting, and I guess it would POP as well, but more than likely not...
Pics will be a sure thing...just have to find the $$$$ to do it...

Will get pictures after I purchase the items discussed, then get some during install, and after install...I am excited, but will probably be the middle of June before I can do anything...but Pictures are a NO BRAINER!

Off to the church to finalize VBS materials and get things ready...hope to take a breath soon, I have to pack and plan for Costa Rica the following week!

Should be a good day, I'm outa here at 11:30 to go enjoy the day! High in the mid 80's, light breeze, low humidity. Doesn't get much better than that!

Nice, we are supposed to have temps in the low 90's, and 40% chance of storms...humidity????? Oh yeah, that is actually a completely different part of the weather...we are always super excited if it is below 80%, usually it sits around 85-90%...so it stays hot...well, since it is supposed to rain today, I figure what better day to clean the truck out (Vacuum it out) and wash off the tires at least...may even attempt to play with a slight exhaust leak on the driver side manifold, but we will see!
I really want to go look at another dentside...a guy that lives by my parents has one for sale, I believe it is a '78, but haven't looked at much detail...he used it in his construction business, but it runs good, and doesn't look to bad considering it has been used for work for the last 20+ years...I'll see how the day comes out!
