Run it under the L/H bank wires and in the small spot of open intake manifold. Shorten the outer line a bit and there you go.

Very nice 3 gauge set up, looks good.

Did you pick up that rubber grommet back by the oil pressure t fitting? At least it looks like one?

Thanks! Yep, that's the grommet I dropped when putting in the water temp gauge.

yes , go under the wires and upgrade to fuel injection hose if you have not already . I put a rubber dizzy cover of an 88 Grand Merc. for a bit of added safety . Best of luck !

Good idea on the fuel injector hose - I have a length that should work. Thanks!

Stuck on these bolts

Today I did the same as yesterday. I worked at getting the exhaust manifold bolts out so I can replace the old exhaust manifolds with new hedders. Only, it is becoming a real struggle. I have broken both front top bolts and have three others that are frozen tight with 30 years worth of rust.

Soak them with deep creep or PB blaster for a day . A few heat cycles will help between soakings . Best of luck ! Drill and tap time ahead :(

I have been pitting this off for quite some time on my 75 for this very reason.

I "rocked" mine out, like when you shift forward and reverse trying to get out of a ditch. I didnt break any

Good point ! It may sound strange , but , after soaking try to tighten the bolts before loosening them . Then loosen , tighten .. etc. :-drink

got new tires for the front of my 78 f100 today.cost me 208 dollars and some change for 2 235/75/15 at my local wally world sounded like a lot to me but they are 90 thousand mile tires.mount, balance, new valve stems, road hazard warranty, etc, etc and the state of alabama fee 1 dollar each.yes im complaining but i do feel alot safer than i did with the may pop dry rots i had.

Replaced the turn signal switch yesterday so now the blinkers cancel. Also shimmed the steering shaft in the lower column bearing to take up the remaining play in the steering wheel relative to the column. I pressed a piece of feeler gauge in the gap and used a small hose clamp to ensure it stays put.

Don't worry, I cleaned up those welds better on the last pic, just forgot to take another picture.

Also, got the motor pretty much back together and the wiring straightened out.

Removed the rear leaf springs. (installing a 4in skyjacker lift) Snapped or cut most of the bolts even had to cut one of the shackles. Ordered replacements and now trying to figure out how to get the 2 1/2 in square tubes they used to lift it off the what appears to factory spacers.:-huh
