I'm in the market for a new TV, thoughts on this 50'' LED with wifi Android & 3D

It's pretty tough to find a non 3D TV with decent features. The only feature that is a must have for me is 240Hz but that's because we game a lot (that's essentially the refresh rate or speed of the TV). You'll RARELY if ever notice it watching TV or movies. It's only noticeable gaming you'll see a slight blur between images that are fast motion games like first person shooters.

I didn't realize that 3D was pretty much standard today ........Good info !!

Made it back to AK this morning if you go by the time zone I left in (well, it was technically still yesterday here when I landed...)

Nice and nippy out. 11F now according to my outside thermometer. I "wunder" where wunderground is getting this +20F on my phone from, and inAccurateweather isn't much better.

Gerry- Great looking TV. That may be my new one once we move! My next TV may not need to have 3D, but it needs to be 4K and a smart/connected TV. The one we got 2 years ago when we first came up to AK is 4K and a smart TV with apps by LG.

I'm not into 3D. But Samsung makes a nice curved 4K display that gives your movies a ton of depth.

My mother has a curved 4k screen. She doesn't use 4k at all, but she likes the curved screen. I haven't watched on it a whole lot, but it was nice. Not pitch my F8000 Sammy and buy one nice, but nice.

Dave - It was a low of 65F when I left Florida.. So a bit of a temp shock. I couldn't stop sweating and being dehydrated in Florida. I don't have that problem now.
