I have been to the one in Kelowna a few times. Bought a huge cresent wrench cause they didn't have the wrench I needed. They do seem to have some of the obscure stuff that is sometimes hard to find.

Princess Auto is great for some stuff. I dont know the quality of their wrenches and stuff, but they definatly have some neat stuff that a guy can use for light duty, or a few time uses. I buy lights and stuff there too cause I just dont need expensive lights.

I think most of the tools have a warranty anyway or it seems like it.

EVERYTHING in the store is under a warrenty of "No sale is complete, until your satisfied" I had a LED head light break (after 3 years). I was buying a replacement. And I said as much to the Cashier, she told me to bring the borken one in, and they would replace it for free.. Cool...

I love that policy!

It is a good policy. Nothing is worse than breaking something and not having it replaced. A little more work for them but if it keeps a customer coming back to spend money it is most likely worth the extra work.

Crappy tire was good when they had that policy. BUt now they dont give a sh**, and I dont buy their tools anymore.. 99% of them are crap anyways. I break more MotoCrap than I do PA

My dad swears by the stuff sold at canadian tire. He is pretty hard on tools too, and he has good luck with their warranty.

I have taken tools back there and don't remember having any issues. I even got a refund for some open electrical stuff which they don't usually take back.

preppypyro 01-31-2008 09:02 AM

I havent taken tools back but I have taken tons of other stuff back, they have been good to me.

One time I took back a whole ton of plumber fittings and that was kind of a pain, but they did take em all back.

When I am doing stuff around the house(plumbing and electrical usually) I will by what I think I need then a little more with the idea in mind I can always take stuff back.

preppypyro 01-31-2008 04:33 PM

Thats exactly what i do too. Since im about half hour drive out of the city its worth it for me to return non needed stuff after.

Zip 01-31-2008 05:18 PM

The plus is you don't have to run back and get the stuff you didn't get the first time.

preppypyro 01-31-2008 07:13 PM

Exactly, that turns outto be alot of driving in a day for a few missed things!

Zip 01-31-2008 07:39 PM

I don't know how many times I have said oh crap and off to the store I go to get more stuff.
