Here's my '50 (and '47). '50 is my daily driver. (390/C6/9"). Added 12,000 miles in the last year. In Pittsburgh, and it drives year round. http://www.computerliterates.com/47f...b/100_1420.jpg

PS '47 just 4 fun (and backup vehicle is a '51 panel still being made roadworthy)

This next pic comes from the Dallas Pride Parade held a few weeks back - note the rainbow umbrella. (My daughter was surprised to see it in the parade & sent it to me).

So if you are wandering around on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco look for this beauty abandoned within spitting distance of Pier 39. (It's sitting in plain view from Scoma's Rest.).

That truck was listed on CL several years ago just a few minutes from my house. The seller was the son of the farmer that had it on his farm, when this area was still farm country. My buddy and I actually looked at it as a project for my friend, but we passed. We really liked the patina paint and door art.

Now I know where the truck went.

Hey Ilya,
It's just sitting there calling your name. It's parked on a forgotten pier
in SF collecting dust - pretty obvious it hasn't moved much. There are also a couple of others there but covered up so not sure what's up.

The exterior on the one in the pic looks pretty good.

LOL, you mean collecting rust, that salty bay fog doesn't leave dust like a Texas wind. It does still look good, hope someone has good plans for it.

Ilya, I'm following your lead. Here's a shot of me ready to head out to the swap meet on Saturday;

Here's a shot later in the day after the swap meet. I'm parked in front of my Dad's truck, he's getting a load of yard waste ready for a dump run;

And finally here is a pic heading home from the swap meet (no I didn't buy the dune buggy, I'm transporting it home for a friend);

At least you sold the motorcycle.

I liked your pictures.

Those tail lights look like they are from a '50 Plymouth. [just a guess]

Pretty danged good guess.

I pulled them off a late 40's Chrysler. I think it was a Town and Country but I'm not 100%. Maybe 46 or 47?

Very cool. The way they sit on the fender they really make a good fit. Look like they belong there.

:)

Thanks

I had to "massage" them slightly

My 1970 F-350

I know my new truck is not a 48-56, but I have to show my Fat Fendered Friends here my Working 1970 F-350 Truck. I am taking this load of concrete to the landfill for a neighbor. There was more broken up sidewalk than I thought. I even had to run to the lumber yard to buy 2 2x8's to make my sideboards higher. I was going to do that anyhow but I had to do it for this job!

I am trying to get some jobs hauling stuff to justify to my wife that I needed this truck. She likes the fact that if I need stuff for the '70 it earns its keep...

Here is what I took to the dump last week, a big load of brush:
