Hey Dak, its only Quebec that wants the secession, not Ontario, at least not yet.....

Good morning guys, have a great day

Good morning Gerry!

Jigger2020 07-02-2015 06:41 AM

Hey Doug, hope all's well heading into the long w/e

EO2SeaBee 07-02-2015 06:44 AM

Thanks Gerry. We got another couple of inches of rain yesterday, but we may be out of it finally. I'm looking forward to drying out for a while.

And if they leave I say we make them take the oversized portion of the national debt that was caused by them plus the French language so we can go back to English only in the rest of the country :) I don't like that they force French on everybody in Quebec while the rest of us have to have bilingualism. That squabble will never end though.

OMG what the heck is going on down there, TX might wash into the gulf, geez

I wonder what Carl is up to

hey Steve, I agree with all that chum

EO2SeaBee 07-02-2015 06:52 AM

Howdy Steve. Tell us what you really think and don't hold back!:-X04

Gerry, between the previous two months, we have gotten an entire year's worth of rain. Since January, we have gotten more rain than all of 2011 and 2013 combined. ENOUGH ALREADY!:-X18

Jigger2020 07-02-2015 06:58 AM

Doug is there much danger from erosion, I mean all over TX

EO2SeaBee 07-02-2015 07:01 AM

Things are so flat down on this side of the state that erosion isn't a concern. In the Hill Country, erosion has already been a problem when the creeks and rivers start rushing down grades and taking stuff with it.

Jigger2020 07-02-2015 07:04 AM

Ah ok, I'm glad your place is all right but this rain needs to end, yikes

Thursday Funny....

The daughter asks her Dad,

"Dad there is something that my boyfriend said to me that I didn't understand. He said that I have a beautiful chassis, lovely airbags and a fantastic bumper."

Her Dad said, "You tell your boyfriend that, if he opens your hood and tries to check your oil with his dipstick, I will tighten his lug nuts so hard that his headlights will pop out and he will start leaking oil out of his exhaust pipe."

EO2SeaBee 07-02-2015 07:14 AM

Howdy Bill. Here - coffee's GONE! Great joke!

Gerry, the 10 day looks promising, so hopefully the weather people are correct for a change. One thing we do have to deal with when the ground gets saturated like this is large hardwood trees falling over with relatively light winds. Since their roots spread out just below the surface rather than growing down deep, the soil can't hold them up anymore.

Good morning guys :)

I like that joke...a lot!

Fresh salmon sounds really good Dak and $8.99 a pound sounds pretty reasonable to me. It would be a lot more in the land of cheese.

I just brewed our second pot here...help yourself guys

EO2SeaBee 07-02-2015 07:38 AM

Mornin Andre. I'll head that way as soon as my meeting ends.
