Howdy Don, just got back from dinner!

donjamer 11-26-2011 09:38 PM

Wow that was a late dinner. LOL

We went to Don Pepe's in Newark for some great Portuguese food.

Been a busy day with splitting fire wood and pulling a Chevy out of my yard.....lol. My buddy stopped over to help with splitting fire wood and he was backing the splitter and his truck down the hill towards my driveway as we split. Well, he ended up getting it stuck as he tried to pull it back up the hill and he only has two wheel spin. So I took the ol Ford and swung around him and nosed towards him to hook the chain up. Pulled him up the hill in 4HI and never spun a tire. Now I am just grabbing some dinner.

Sounds like a successful day getting to show up a Chevy

It's about 30 minutes away, we had to drop off my niece down that way anyway.

Yeah Don, it was nice to show him up but it was the least that I could do seeing that he is the one that has been helping here with cutting and splitting the wood for this winter. His two sons have been out helping with stacking the wood too.

donjamer 11-26-2011 09:53 PM

So you were just supervising the operation? LOL

Always nice having extra hands around when splitting and stacking wood!

sddesigns 11-26-2011 09:57 PM

Well it's walk time, then hit the rack, hope everyone has a great night!

donjamer 11-26-2011 09:58 PM

Good night Steve

donjamer 11-26-2011 10:04 PM

Well I guess I'm gonna call it a night.. TTYL

tiny1 11-26-2011 10:08 PM

I was running the control valve on the splitter and it does make it go quick when you have multiple hands working on it. Right now, there is about 9 face cord of wood stacked inside the shed and another 2 -3 that needs to be stacked.

Have a good night guys and I will ttyl.
