For about $2,300 it could be. ;)

yah but i would get the intercooled one. when we got our normal roushcharger the intercooled one was not out yet and it is going to hinder my rebuild in the future and limits how much i can do to it now. but if you only want to do minor mods then the non intercooled roushcharger would be fine. i just have big plans for mine in the future. it so very well worth it no matter witch charger you choose, really you cant go wrong with any of them out there.

Too bad it has the 4.6, I don't believe anyone makes a blower for it. I do know of a company that makes a turbo for it though. It has been regeared to 4:10 though, which helps it alot. I'm debating spending some Christmas cash on an edge evolution for it as well. Good idea ?

That red sure jumps out at a person!

They make 4.6 blower kits for the cars, why wouldn't one work on a truck 4.6?

Bracket placement, intake routing, accesory location. I'm sure one could be modified to work with the truck components with few parts and a little ingenuity, but the fact of the matter remains, is that more of these trucks were sold with 5.4L engines, than 4.6L engines and the market just isn't there for the smaller V8. :-huh

I thought there was a pretty even split between 5.4 and 4.6 trucks? I would think there would be more 4.6's since 5.4 is sort of a premium option..

Most of the 4.6L trucks I see are base models, or those used as service vehicles. I guess the production numbers themselves are there, but IMO most people looking to save money on a bare bones truck aren't planning to drop 4-6K on a blower after the fact either.....and I'm guess the supercharger companies feel this way as well?

Those are kits for the '97-'04 10th generation trucks, not the '04-'08 11th Generation models.

Most likely adaptable, but I'm guessing no less "custom" work needed than having to adapt a Mustang kit.

well, it's been a few years since i last hung around here... but, at last another F-150 has found it's way into my driveway and I couldn't be happier. Just picked this up last weekend so, no mods yet but... we'll see what I can come up with to make this one even more special.

Just put a SI/DO flomaster 40 (3" in, 2.5" out) on my truck. The video is a cold start so you cant hear the rumble but it sounds awesome once the truck is actually warmed up!
