Is it still just regular schedule or do you have to pull oT?

fire240 08-11-2014 08:30 PM

Regular schedule for us in the dispatch center. Officers have to work everyday of move in at the end of the month. Their days off are canceled. They will get OT for that. I have the option of coming in to help with move in on day shift if I want but I would rather not because it would be a double.

archtaan 08-11-2014 08:33 PM

It would be a nice extra chunk of change though.

fire240 08-11-2014 08:34 PM

It is but it is not worth the extra aggravation. We have a staggered move in for all of the students staying on campus. You would be surprised at how many try to cut in line to get in before they should be there.

archtaan 08-11-2014 08:42 PM

I hate line jumpers. They should have their fingers glued to their ankles.

fire240 08-11-2014 08:43 PM

Pretty much Tim. We have to have only certain people in certain areas so we dont back traffic up on the city streets around the university. 2 of the streets that border our dorm areas are major roads. The city doesnt like it if traffic backs up too much.

archtaan 08-11-2014 08:46 PM

They will be fine. If they dont like the traffic they should set up detours.

fire240 08-11-2014 08:48 PM

The one road is a major east west road in the city. Whenit goes past the university it is a rather snug 4 lane road. Otherwise it is a 2 lane road the rest of the way. It backs up from I-83 to York Road every day at rush hour. Add in people moving into the university on a friday and it gets worse.

25psi peak. Why do you have it cocked over gangsta style?

its not clearing the steering wheel... beating the face of the gauge every time i make a turn... with it cocked like that its not hitting the set buttons... its gonna get moved soon as i figure out where im getting the f650 dash from...

archtaan 08-11-2014 09:23 PM

Are you going to put a different gauge there instead?

Sparky83 08-11-2014 09:25 PM

nope.. just gonna pull that off and fill the holes i drilled in the cover...

archtaan 08-11-2014 09:26 PM

That works. Are you sure you want to mount it down in the F650 pod? Its surely out of sight there.
