Yay! I finally get to post pictures of one of my trucks in here!
All ready to go (St Patricks Day Parade in Salt Lake 2012), although it was somewhat light duty work and only for an hour plus he shone bright! even among all the blank stares and attention! :-X04 http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c.../untitled1.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...%202012/10.jpg Parade truck was here idea, what else do ya do with big trucks if you don't have a farm or any power poles to set?? http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...2/untitled.jpg and for anyone wondering here is what the truck looked like when found in retirement from it's first job. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...of0910_001.jpg more pictures of it here if anyone want to see them. http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/c...Parade%202012/ |
I saw this one selling T-shirts and moonshine inside Ole Smoky Moonshine in Gatlinburg a few weeks ago. I couldn't really get a good camera angle on it for all the people standing around (I did say moonshine, right?). I thought the description on the sign was kind of cheesy and misleading (bumper was "designed" to puncture radiators, green was the preferred color due to the need to camouflage, etc.--whatever) It would have looked better without the funny sign.

Here is a 51/52 with a large load. Probably taken in the early 60's based on the other vehicles in the pic.

Huh, 'didn't know that they placed Fords in the Old Navy stores. I thought that they were all AD Chevrolets. Cool thread. http://www.oldtruck.net/forumsmilies...l_thumbsup.gif |
