you telling me they never had you try it in 5th grade science??? geeze.... what did yall do in school...

you take a highly concentrated sugar and water solution... take a string tape one end to a pencil, the other end you tie to a paperclip (or something negatively balanced that will sink in water and is non-toxic)... put the string in the solution, cover with syranwrap/ cling wrap... let sit somewhere undisturbed and in a week you should have grown the candy rock crystals on the string...

school one we tried grew fungus... ones i tried at home never grew anything... im sure you can find some instructions online somewhere on how to grow the candy rock crystals..

I remember getting rock candy at Disneyland. I loved that stuff.

Hey Chris, hows it goin

Zip 03-05-2010 03:20 AM

Good Pete.

How'd your inspection thing go?

Flying_Dutchman 03-05-2010 03:23 AM

Havent heard anything yet. I assume they will try and get something organized to repair the deck.

Zip 03-05-2010 03:29 AM

It will be good if they fix that with their coin.

Flying_Dutchman 03-05-2010 03:41 AM

Yup, that's what Im hoping for.

Zip 03-05-2010 03:44 AM

Too bad someone wont come and fix my stuff for free. I could handle that.

Flying_Dutchman 03-05-2010 03:47 AM

Well, my strata fees are over $200 a month. I doubt garbage service and landscaping cost that much haha

Zip 03-05-2010 03:51 AM

If it does I think I want to become your landscaper. $200 x how ever many owners is probably a good chunk of cash. If you have to pay yearly taxes wouldn't the garbage pickup be included in that. I think ours is.

Flying_Dutchman 03-05-2010 03:55 AM

I pay property tax as well yea. Im not sure which portion covers garbage pick-up. I was fairly certain the strata fee covered it. There are something like 64 units in the building.

Zip 03-05-2010 04:29 AM

Well 64x$200 should cover garbage pickup.
