Innocent your honor!!!!

Hey Charlie do you know why a speedometer would say 10 to 20 MPH off. Our bronco 2 keeps saying between 10 and 20 MPHs to slow and we are running stock tire size.

It's possible someone changed the transmission at some point in it's life. The speedo gear in the trans is not matching the rear gears.
Look on the tag on the rear, and get what ratio, then we can try to figure what speedometer gear you need

I did take the speedometer cable out of a toyo koygo 4speed and we have a toyo koygo 5 speed does that matter? Gear ratio is 3.45 non limited slip if that helps you.

Cable makes no difference, it's the gear the cable hooks too that makes the difference.

Well the gear ratio is the same in the Bronco 2 I took the speedometer cable out of as the one we put it into.

You might want to switch trans gears. Look where the cable hooked up. there is a clip with a small bolt holding it in. Undo the bolt, remove the clip, wiggle/pull the gear out of the housing. Do the same for the other truck. If they are the same color they are the same gear. There are different colors for the different ratios, I forget what they are, you could post in the transmission section, and get a more specific answer

I took it out of our red bronco 2 (parts truck) it was white the gear. Our Blue bronco 2 had the same color white. Not in much of a hurry to get it fixed was just curious driven for about a year now no speedometer won't hurt a little longer. Thanks for the help Charlie.
