Personally i have no faith in dodge engines. Around here there are known as "gutless-gashogs". The new HEMI isn't even all that impressive. The 5.9 pulls like a 302 and then there is the tranny you have to deal with. The 5.4 will out pull most engines of that size, because Ford delivers wonderfull torque at low RPM's. And the Ford tranny is bullet proof. Ford is the best builder of hard-working, pulling trucks. And being that the frames/bodies of ford trucks are definately built better than dodge or chevy, if you want a hard working truck your crazy not to get a ford
