Well, I thought I had a job lined up that would put me in Indiana, but it looks like that fell through. So, I submitted for membership to this chapter today.
I live in Rushville. Some will know exactly where that is, but for those that don't it's at the intersection of US 24 and US 67. County Seat of Schuyler (pronounced sky-ler) county. Lotsa deer hunting around the county and the story goes that the family that started the Chicago Tribune had their first newspaper in Rushville. For some reason they thought the little town up on the lake would increase in population faster than the burg here. Guess they were right.:-X10

My brother-in-law married a girl from Coulterville...they now live in Aviston. Her maiden name was Berry. I visit your neck of the woods (and I mean WOODS, lol) often. Roger and Cherity were married on the ballfield in Coulterville, and I've played golf (some scramble) with the Berrys in Marissa, but usually play Governors Run while visiting down there (brother in law is a member/has pass). Oh yeah...almost forgot, I'm in Peoria.

ok, well we've both endured the pits then...I was born in Decatur, but parents moved to Peoria when I was 1 year old. Got away for 4 years, but was sucked back in by my wife and now I feel as if I'll never dig my way outta P-town...LOL

We lived in Washington for a year while my wife worked in Chilicothe and I worked in Peo. I haven't spend much time in Decatur, but there are parts of Peo that would be hard to beat in the armpit award.
