(until the engine is warm you are constantly playing with the choke to make it run right), much more noisy than electric and requires basic gas engine maintenance like changing oil, spark plugs, etc.

[QUOTE=SavageNFS;14186142]I remember the day I removed the last booster seat out of the truck...what a great day and a sad day at the same time!
I remember taking out the car seat, followed a few years later with removing the booster. At the time, it was a nice feeling. Now, my "Baby" has her own car (high school junior) and my son graduated Texas A&M last may. It's over way too soon.

He is looking for someone to Give his 2014 Truck to........Yep! He wants a 2015. I heard him say that :-X22:-blah LIES LIES LIES Obviously, you can't trust those fleet guys. Not only do they try to give away other people's stuff, they go to fabric stores and then try to blame their wives. I think today, it is definitely ROY's fault. ROR You guys have a great evening and a great weekend with whatever adventures you have planned or unplanned. I'll be here boiling oil and making more of the product most of us on this forum can't use. |
Tonight's project.
I think the motto here is to measure 30 times, and drill once. http://img.ahtr.net/DSCN0026-3.JPG |
I have had cab lights in the cupboard here for 4yrs........I can't do it!
|
Piece of cake, Trent! Actually the motto should be, drop the $75 up front and get them factory installed!

Good luck with your project Trent. I'm sure it will go well for you. I used to have "project" vehicles. It seemed like each time I would get one like I wanted it, it was time to sell and start over - whether it was bikes, trucks or cars. Are you going to keep yours when you finish, or get a new project?

Sounds about right. I would be too chicken to do it and I don't think I could trust anyone else to do it so that takes me back to doing it myself.
I would have refused my truck if the order was messed up and I didn't get cab lights. Measure 15 times, take a break and think it over and measure the last 15 times to make sure everything is good. That should do it. |

... then it's taken me about 3 years to finally get the guts to drill into my roof. Which is strange because at work I drill holes in truck roofs all the time to install radio antennas. I guess I got pretty comfortable drilling into brand new F-550s so I think I'm gonna try doing mine now. |
I think I would pay someone whom I trusted, to do it for me while I hid. I don't like drilling into perfect sheet metal. I prefer bolt-on type stuff. Yes - I'm chicken! It does look like a cool project though.

And if it fails, cut the roof completely off and have a rare convertible SuperDuty.
