Put a new %^$#&*g radiator in my '07 after it started spewing antifreeze out.
Kicked it after it started blowing cold air on the hot setting. Looks like its time to replace the blend door actuator. |
Put new shocks and a steering stablilizer on the 79 so I could drive it to work.

I removed 4/10 exhaust manifold bolts dirvers side 99 SD V10. I have one more on the top and all 5 on the bottom. Any tips, advice or threads on this topic.

Replaced the radiator, serpentine belt, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, and blend door actuator on the '07.
Replaced all four shocks and the steering stabilizer on the '79.

Finally got a stereo from Santa. Installed it over the break and now I have tunes. Haven't had any since March last year.

Had to fix some wires in the '07's door harness that became brittle and broke. Its nice having power windows again.

Lets see....ripped out the steering column, disassembled said steering column, and am now trying to source thirty year old parts for it.
I also scoured the junk yards for an old Autolite 4100. Wanting something to replace my Edelbrock. I'm sick of all the extra linkage you need to run an Automatic Ford. |
Still waiting on column parts to show up and carb parts to finish soaking.

Started to remove the oil pan so I can reinstall the front timing cover.

Ordered an NOS shift gate from Green Sales for the tilt column. Also been busy sourcing a bunch of other NOS items for said column as well.

Just dropped about $300 at Summit for all new tie rods, ball joints, and control arms for the '07. Saved me about $250.00 because I didn't have to use a local parts house.

I removed the body moulding from my 91 f150. I need to do a temp repair on some scratches. I am hoping to maybe get it painted next year.
I need to get an alignment. It pulls right pretty hard and has a nasty shimmy around 70 mph. |
I washed the '07 last night! Now Im just waiting on the rest of my MOOG suspension parts to show up so I can get the 6" Fabtech lift installed :-jammin

Also recently put on:
.New OEM calipers all around .Powerstop drilled & slotted rotors .Ceramic pads. .X code front leaf springs. |

Haha. Whats up buddy. Great to hear from you too! And you bet! More additions/improvements: ....Made a boost leak detector after being suspicious of a boost leak. Sure enough. Loose boot clamp! - Fixed. ....Removed my PCM and sent it off to DP Tuner for a re-tin and to flash a 100 performance tune onto it ....Removed and put a few fresh coats of plasti-dip spray on my grill. Looks brand new! ....Pulled bed rail caps & tailgate cap off. Used a wire wheel and a drill to grind off the old DIY roll on bed liner (crap) on the tailgate one. Will either have my buddy spray line them or I will plasti-dip them. ....Cleaned engine compartment & outside of transmission & oil pan. Cant wait to get that PCM back in and go for a drive. Between a new tune and no more boost leak, it's going to feel like a whole different truck. Also bought a 35 psi Autometer Cobalt boost gauge. I push about 30 psi max so it'll be more accurate and fun to look at in comparison to my 60 psi gauge. |
I test fit a tounau (sp?) cover on the '91. It won't fit. Turns out to be for a 97-04 F150.
