Not dark here yet, but getting close. The apple tree is history. I'm surprised it put out as many apples as it did. The whole inside was powder. Best thing is my wife didn't have to call an ambulance.

I think Im going to go insane... They are testing the fire alarms in the building right now and they go off almost every minute....

Zip 03-03-2010 07:35 PM

Hey Pete.

I test mine sometimes when I cook.

Flying_Dutchman 03-03-2010 07:38 PM

Haha, me too. I should have just told them it worked fine.

Zip 03-03-2010 07:42 PM

Probably wouldn't believe you. I guess they have to do it though. Probably something to do with insurance.

Flying_Dutchman 03-03-2010 07:50 PM

Yea, they do it annually. I have to be here to let them in if they need to check out something in my condo.

Zip 03-03-2010 07:52 PM

They just say that. They just want to annoy as many people as they can all at once.

Flying_Dutchman 03-03-2010 08:11 PM

Thats about right hah. I had a guy come by to check the tub drains and another to check the sundeck membrane. At least they are getting it all out of the way today, while Im here. This would have been a nightmare during work season.

Zip 03-03-2010 08:15 PM

So if something is wrong with the drain or sundeck do you have to pay for repairs.

Flying_Dutchman 03-03-2010 08:20 PM

I dont know for sure. The drains were fine and the deck has a bit of a cut in the middle from something that the previous owner dragged along it. Ill find out when I get the report.

Zip 03-03-2010 08:24 PM

Sounds like they want to make sure you are on top of repairs and upkeep.

Flying_Dutchman 03-03-2010 08:45 PM

I just read the paper they gave us prior to the inspection. It said, any repairs for the tub drains are the unit owners responsibility. I think the deck membrane is covered under the buildings warranty.

Zip 03-03-2010 08:54 PM

Ya that makes sense to me.
