Morning Rich! Oregon is a gem most people don't even know exists.........:)

How bout a quick trip to the Dunes at Winchester Bay!

Toyman 05-11-2013 09:39 AM

I love the dunes Don. We have a nice little area here to play on also. This is my buddy Mike's truck.

couple more pics. first one is from the top of the tallest hill (not always an easy climb), the second was from our closing weekend meet and greet cookout that we do.

Nice ride! I don't get to go to the dunes much. There a loong way from me, clear over on the coast. I live on the east side of the mountains in the desert. No dunes here, just thousands of square miles of desert!

Toyman 05-11-2013 09:48 AM

Still beautiful I'm sure. I've not been to the west coast there. Only into the mountains one time about 25 years ago.

fabmandelux 05-11-2013 09:53 AM

Which mountain chain? We have three. The Coast Range, the Cascades, and the Blue Mountains!

Toyman 05-11-2013 10:08 AM

Pretty sure it was the Cascades. Spent a month on Idaho and we took a long off road trip into Washington, down to Oregon and back to Cour d"alene. Was really nice fishing some extremely clear streams for dinner and staying off any main road that we could.

Actually made me think about moving that way at the time.

I was a "duffle bag baby". My dad was in the Navy for 27 years, so we lived all over the country. Down south, back east, west coast, etc. Then 6 years in the Army for me. I've never found a place I loved more than Oregon! 40 miles north to the Columbia River, 20 miles south to the forests, and 30 miles east to a sweet lake. I think I'll stay here........lol

Toyman 05-11-2013 10:20 AM

Can't blame ya there at all. I enjoy the Michigan seasons here. Winter seems to not want to go this year though, frineds in the UP reporting snow this morning again......

fabmandelux 05-11-2013 10:22 AM

I'm an avid winter hater. Probably why I live in the desert.......lol

Later guys. Time for me to get to the base and get something done! Back after the race today.....

I've only ever flown over crater lake. It looks like an awesome place to visit and go on the lake. Up here in Washington if you go over the mountains into the eastern side it's kind of the same, a desert kind of scene. It's pretty nice in the summer, a tad hot but if you're by one of the lakes over there then it's not so bad.

Jigger2020 05-11-2013 06:54 PM

Hey how did we get to Oregon, who's in charge here

Just a bit behind the time eh? I'm not really sure how we got here, I was busy pleasing Amber and watching some certain JERKS destroy my bug :-roll
