Morning Tony. Not to much for me, I am going to attempt to get some of the Christmas decorations put away. Just have to dig them out of the snow!

I just leave em up. Adds to the ambiance, with all the 60s/70s Bronco prts tastefully placed through out the yard. My heavy metal museum! I'm thinkin of setting posts with placards IDing each item. Will never charge admission (wel,l may be a beer or 2), it's just for friends - exclusive showings...

Morning Chad. I'd leave them, but the wife is getting antsy about them! Hey, if they were Ford parts, I would leave them up! Neighbors may not be too keen on it, though!

Yeah, but the neighbors are waaay too close!!

chrlsful 01-22-2010 09:14 AM

waaay too close

wish I could say: "F em", but I can't. Ah, the life of a Scots bachelor farmer... All ways wanted a "boogie shack in the woods" as a kid. Built a (in today's dollars) $300K suburban/exurban house with pieces/parts off developments I started in the 70s. Got married and started movin around enuff I had to switch careers. @ divorce I got what I wanted as a kid. Be careful what U ask 4. I'm in a 1901 barn now (fixer upper) and @ bout 2 yrs post divorce I realized I'm much happier than in that 'real house'. No wife, neighbors R close - but don't bother, trees seclude, able to wrk on the Bronk, friends come over for bonfire n music (if that's what U call it) etc. Hey, it's the wkend, come on over...

67nukeford 01-22-2010 09:17 AM

Sounds pretty damn good to me Chad! If we move again, it will be to somewhere with at least 5 acres, so I can stick the house right in the middle, then surround it with trees! If I was closer, I'd stop by!
