Hi Sam, I am looking for a great paint job such as yours. I have attempted to locate the paint shop you used in Elgin, Texas. Do you know if they still exist? I could not find any listing for them.
Thanks Sam, I did post another issue I have noticed.(no replies) With the hinge pocket portion removed, the door seems a little flexy now when fully opened, did you reinforce the sheet metal to stop that?
Sam yet another question, the gap opening Mid 50's wants of 3/4" is that realy neccessary? I have about 5/8" after trying to open it up, upper top window remaining brackets wont allow any more. The old windows worked just fine with that opening so the reason for the question?
Thanks Willy
Thanks Sam, I did get all my arsonal out and finally used a 5 1/2" zip disk to start then was able to get the saws-all in there. One other question, there is a bracket that use to hold the original track for the main window/vent side on the inner panel, that needs to be taken off or just leave it?
Hi Sam, went through your detailed install for curved windows from Mid 50's because I'm finally doing mine. All going well but what did you use to cut the top inner hinged sheet metal with? Being up that 1 1/4" makes it almost impossible so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sam, Couldn't seem to send a PM. Is that a feature of subscribed users only?
If so, can yo usend me an email address and we'lll go from there?
Thanks Sam.
Sam, I get a great deal of inspiration from your truck, I am finally beginning to make some progress on mine. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. I would like to know if you can give me the dimensions from your frame to the outside surface of your front and rear tires. Also, with those measurements, if there is any room left for tire clearance at the top of the tires to the fenders. The reason I am asking is because I purchased a set of tires and wheels but I think they might be too wide. I am using the same front and rear ends as you but I don't have any sheetmetal on the frame to check for clearances. You have been very helpful on this forum and we all appreciate it!
