    Hi Shady;

    I was just reading your thread on the 5.4 rebuild. I'll be doing the same very soon - mine is having the cam phaser issue (which I believe is actually a low oil pressure problem). The engine has almost 200k miles on it, so I don't mind the rebuild.

    Anyways...could you tell me where you sourced the rebuild kit? There is lots of availability out there, at varying prices (and I am sure quality). I don't have the engine just yet, but I anticipate changing the piston rings, oil pump and crank bearings at a minimum - rebore/pistons if necessary, same with head work.

    I appreciate any advice you can provide.
