Thanks. I saw the pics. Did you order the lights from protuninglab? Their halo lights look similar to recon but much less expensive.

I should've specified, I meant order the 05-06 panels - my bad. I used a Dremel, too small an area for an angle grinder and I doubt a knife would do it. Sawzall is way to violent as well.

Had zero instructions with mine, which is fairly typical. Advertised 'Made in America' lights had Malaysian stickers all over them when they arrived.

Either route you go, you're going to have to cut. All the one piece headlights use a different header panel than the two piece models. So you can either pony up some cash and order the new panels from RockAuto or something, or just cut the little bits out that need gone. Mine was a simply trial and error fitment, you can see clearly when it's hitting so you know where you have to trim, just cut little bits at a time until the light fits properly.

Ok, can't PM you yet cuz you're still new lol.

First off, saw you're in Houston too - I'm on the south side, down in Clear Lake myself. Could meet up sometime if you would like a hand with things.

As for the lights, the LED's function however you wire them up. Personally I have them wired to what used to the be the side running lamps. They come on with the running lights (parking lights, etc). You can also wire them up to the turn signals and have them blink, but personally I prefer the look of them on all the time. I'll take a few pictures and throw them up in my Stay Puft album for you.
Be forewarned, they do NOT bolt in. You need to cut the fiberglass header panel, and aiming them becomes a bitch. No independent up/down and left/right. You get up/right and down/left, that's it. Works out well, just a hassle.

I installed HID. They are a tight fit but with patience will mount properly. I laid a bead of high temp marine silicone along the seams. For the parking lights/turn signals you will need an amber bulb. 1157?
