I remember reading a comment in one of your posts about the differences you found towing with a C6 vs a ZF in the same truck, but can't find it now......can you refresh me on it (mpg, general performance etc)? I'm looking at going from C6 to a manual too.
hey, im replacing an 85 ford f150 body with a 96 f150 body, and i heard your the guy to talk too. if you could give me any help it would be greatly appreciated, i have some questions before i start this job
You stated that the tailgate in the picture that you posted here is from a '95 and it is installed on an '85. My question is; did you have to change the hardware that was on the truck in order to mount the newer tailgate? http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/71...-tailgate.html
I'm not sure, electronic engine controls is outside my comfort zone. I would think that any 351W of that body style would have the same setup if not very similar. Ford doesn't like to make big changes during a production run until they redesign the majority of the package.
Looking to do an engine swap in my 1996 Ford E150. It has a 302 (5.0L) EFI. I want to install a 351W. I am sure I will need a 1996, as they have OBD-II. Any suggestions?
