I believe I seen in your post that you are from Post Falls, and I am assuming that is Idaho - I am in Cheney just the other side of Spokane. Any chance I could contact you regarding your build? I have a 53 that I got for Father's Day that I want to build and you using the CV front has me intrigued.

in your build you mentioned you knew someone who could adjust your computer to forget various un-needed sensors and parameters.
i have a 96 lincoln 4.6 32 valve that is going into my 56 f100, it needs a wiring harness reduction.
the computer needs adjusted to forget a few things. if you could relay my information or pm me with some information so that i can have my programing adjusted. i would be most grateful.

Hey there, i have recently purchased a '56 F100 and have discovered your build. VERY IMPRESSIVE. I am particularly interested in your CV IFS. I keep reading that it's too wide (track width) for these trucks. I don't mind running a little more offset but what did you find? I'm sorry if i missed this in your thread (it's a long thread!).

Yea, but you did it without him even asking, that is what is soooo good about it. Great work on your truck by the way.

Gary, I am still looking for the wheels I am prepared to pay $1200 -2000 for. I really like the Billet Specialties the Mag, L57 I think it is, but about $2K here. A few I like, Junkyard Dogs for example. Generally the old style 5 spoke mag. I like some of the modern mags though that have the rim lip go smooth up to and past the spokes, eg Showwheels. Yes I certainly will post some photos, I reckon mags will set it off well. I really like the chromies look, but I love the mags.

shes a project, being on disability, have to work with low funds,so im piecing her as i go,winds took down my sand blasting tent,re-doing that now, replacing the rear floor of cab and cab corners, also welding up the windshield frame, top area about 12" long, took out gas tank from cab, will replace new one under bed, working is slow, but hell i enjoy it,i blew my compressor out,so had to order new piston and head assy, working like new again-thanks for asking,im terrible at posting pics, but will work on figuring out soon.

The woodie does have a few hours in it, I love to work with wood and am much better at wood than metal. I built that 40 Chevy woodie for a client from a 4 door sedan, after cutting the body off from above the windshield back. Unfortunately it burned/melted while at the mechanics shop that had a massive fire. The fire was so hot that much of the metal melted. Not even the frame was salvageable. One of these days I will build another...
