So ,I may have the mas air system?And isn't it preferable to sd?,looks like a better system to mefrom what i understand about it.

Mass Air systems have a map sensor as well, it's just not connected to the intake manifold and thus, instead of measuring intake vacuum, it measures atmospheric pressure so the EFI system can compensate better for different altitudes.

Why do you need/want to change the distributor/ignition system? The TFI system works very well, if the TFI module is mounted on the fender on a heat sink rather than on the distributor where it "bakes" in engine heat.
