Hey I saw that you posted in the free parts thread about a month and a half back. I was wondering if you still have the seats as I live on the East End of the Island

well thanks for trying. I like when I read posts that have detail and pics to go with it so I figured I'd put some up myself. I have to say its been fun posting and sharing it with others. I have several leaks in the rear the light was one,, they guy prior to me used plumbers putty to seal the break light so that's fixed now and also those vents on that back wall, a body seam on one side and I do feel my sliding window is letting in water that gets seeps in through the top of the body seam.
well if i come up with a fix you know I'll be posting that.

the FTE software PREVENTS me from giving you reps more than once. A message pops up that says I must spread the reps around first. Well, NO ONE has I've read has deserved more reps than you right now when it comes showing pictures and explaining what you did in your cab restoration. No one has taken it so far down to the sheet metal in front of their house and produced such thorough results with no short cuts.

Then there is your outside the box thinking that you ice the cake with... like using a garage door seal to cut your own 3rd brake light gasket? Assembling an in-cab air filter pleat by pleat? Infreakinsane!

I found a rear cab leak in my crewcab... it was the rear window gasket. I have a solid back window, not a slider, and since mine is older (a 2000), window is set in a gasket, not with urethane.

I removed my back glass and the gasket looked almost perfect, but it was bad, because a new gasket fixed the leak.

    You've made some awesome posts!
