    Finally figured out the Hp44. It means High Pinion. You have probably figured this out by now. Hd44 is what is used in the f250's. The early trucks had low pinion axles.

    You may have a hp44. Is it a 8 lug wheel. Maybe it has kingpins. Not really sure I'll post up a thread to answer your question.

    Dont waste your money on a non DD ride, fix the DD ride and get back to the Ford truck when ya can. Pull the keys so no ones drives it, with those brakes like that.
