Did you ever get your truck and trailer? I was in the same dilema as you and I ended up getting the ecoboost with the Max Tow package. Not sure if you are aware but you need the max tow to go from the 9600lb towing capacity to the 11,200lb capacity. I tell you this because my salesman informed me incorrectly and I did not get the max tow. I figured it out the evening I bought it and took it back the next day and they swapped me to one with max tow. The dealership I deal with is awesome. I towed my Jayco TT this weekend for the forst time. Dry I am about 8,000lbs, and I may have put a 1,000 in it. Truck towed fantastic and that braking control was even better than I had imagined. I got about 8.5 to 9 mpg on a 300 mile trip and that was with some stop and go. I also only have 1500 miles on the truck so maybe it will get better. I plan on putting a cap on as well so maybe that will help my aero.
