I am new to the forum as of today. I ran across your post regarding the slip yoke ANNOYING "bump". I also have 2011 F-150, XLT, Chrome package, 2WD like yourself. I had my vehicle in last month and they performed the "grease" fix method. All is well so far. However, i had the same issue with Chevy Silverado in which they performed the same grease fix....and months later it returned. Therefore, i fear the same will result with my Ford. My vehicle had 54K when i was in so i had already surpassed the 36K warranty period. However, the drivetrain has a 60K warranty. I am curious as to how you went about getting Ford to replace the driveshaft? Its dissappointing that for as common as this issue has been over the years nothing has been done in manufacturing to fix. Any suggestions you can provide from your experience would be greatly appreciated!
