    It turned out to be bearing on the belt tensioner pulley,picked up a new belt tensioner assembly at napa,noise gone!!

    I see you had a whistle noise on your truck. ive had same noise and have replaced alternator twice. the first time it solved the problem.. or so i throught. the second time i changed it and it is still doing it. any suggestions??
