    hey man i just bought an 89 f150 and i'm having the same problems with shifting and idling and letting off the throttle just like yours, did you ever figure out what was wrong with it? thanks.

    One last question....Have you ever had any problems with the tire size your using bumping or rubbing the fenders?

    Thanks, I plan to buy tires sometime this will probably go with the same sizes. I'd the fit to be the exact same, since mine is an 89.

    Oh yea sorry, it's been a busy past few days, but my tires are P255/70R16
    As far as the speedo goes, it's shows 1 maybe 2 mph slower than I'm actually going, so it's negligible

    Hey Jlckb5, I'm not sure exactly the code for my tires at the moment, but I know the rims and tires are 1in larger that stock, so the original rims were 15in, the new ones are 16, same goes for the tires. I'll let ou know the eaxact measurments tomorrow
