yea im in west chandler,
i believe its a cleveland, my '71 f-100 has a 2v Cleve in it.. came out of a 70 torino..
go ahead and ask away, ill do what i can.
as for engine id #'s the vin is a good place to start. the BOTP catalog has a vin decoder, but that would only tell you what engine it came from the factory with.....

the cleveland is different from every other engine so if thats what youve got it set at and it purrs right along than id say its a cleve...

does it have a 2 or 4 barrel carb/intake? the number 2 or 4 will be cast in the top corners of the heads..

i am danm sure the P/O dropped a 351Cleveland in the 1970 f-250 i have &
being new to the early ford truck family where would i find the engine id #'s.
She is a good truck the only cancer is in the bed do to P/O had rubber liner and well you can guess the out come.
i have her timed for 351C specs and seems to run just fine. i'm sure if it was a different engine.....she would not run to good.
