    Brain,
I read you posts re: 9" rear replacement to Tyler S; very helpful. So I'm looking for a "complete rear beam" off of a 72 ford pickup? that would come with axle, rear diff and brakes, as well as any bolts, plates, etc, if I do it right...? I guess my wheels won't fit, as the bolt pattern is different, so I'd need new wheels, too? For reference, right now I've got a new set of firestone whitewalls all the way around, listed as size 6.00-16. If I'm looking to end up at 3.25 or so, I need to calculate the gearing, then find an axle with that config...?
    thanks,
    pat

Thanks for the very quick response - good ideas and I appreciate it. Let me chew on this a bit and I'll get back to you if I have more questions.
    Thanks again,
    Les
