    Hey there. Some friendly advice to a new member. You should start a thread of your own to ask questions about your stuff. It'll make it easier for people to help you and your question wont get lost in the pile so to speak. Plus people sometimes get a little touchy with people trying to "hijack" their thread.     C6 Automatic Question I Have a 74 F 100 360 V8, C6 Auto, Transmission starts 1st gear fine but on casual take offs not very long, then seems to skip second gear goes in third !

    It could be a problem with the vacuum modulator or the governor. I'm not a C6 expert, they are a lot different than an electronic transmission.
