    Thanks Dano,
My 55 is a garage find, it sat in this guys garage for over 25 years. It is totally stock, no rust, 6 cyl with 3 speed. He gave me a 302 and a c4, I had them both rebuilt. Then a friend gave me a 1990 351 with a AOD. So I am trying to figure out what way to go. I also have a TCI Mustang 2 front end and rear suspension.
So I am basically just planning my build so once I figure out what way I am going I will have everything I need. So I figure to get input from guys who have done it before.
    Thanks for your input, Rene

I'll keep my ear to the ground. I don't know what kinda budget you are working with but I definately had to shell out more $ for a '56 versus a '53-'55 project truck. Where abouts are you located? Might help in putting the word out. Funny how once you get one of these, others start falling out of the woodworks!

Dano, great work on the truck, it looks like it was taken care of..
if you run into another 56 f100 for sale, in simular condition more or less. i would greatly appreciate it, if you would send me a note. i'm having a hard time finding a decent body, truck to start with. i'm almost to the point of buying someone's butched truck, ie chevy clip/engine, volare/mustang front and restart it with a new frame.. the best i've come up with is 16k which is more than my budget allows.
send a note to temp_force@yahoo.com (temp_force) if you see something worth while.. thanks,
    charles
