Cdouglas18: Chad - Sorry I was so slow in getting back to you; I'm not used to getting many messages. My NP435 was working fine when I pulled it to install my NV4500 5 speed about 6 months ago. Since you already have one you know how "agricultural" they feel in shifting, especially the 2nd to 3rd shift. I had my shifter lever shortened and bent differently to fit under my A/C unit, which didn't help things, but you could reuse your present shifter lever if it's OK and you don't like mine. I was thinking of asking $100 for the transmission, plus shipping. My concern is that shipping costs to Illinois would make it uneconomical for you. I live in Tucson, Arizona. Let me know what you want to do. Bob

    Morning SuperSabre
What condition is the surplus 435 in, and what would you want for it?I can look into shipping cost. The rebuild kit from novak is pretty costly, so trying to figure my best option as far as $$ and time spent on the project.
    Thanks for your help
    Chad

SuperSabre: Hi, It seems that you know a lot about F100 codes and I hope you can help me. I have a 64 F100 with a utility box body that I'm restoring. The body code is 481, which I don't find in the guidebooks accessible to me.

The color code area is blank, the interior is Prairie Bronze and the truck shows a DSO of 752299. Complete photos of the truck and the VIN are on my webpage www.dblewis.net

Any help you could give would be great. Thanks, Dale Lewis
