    got a very clean basicly stock 77 f150 4x4 here in colstrip 110k ish original miles 390cid. Don't know if you are still looking or not but this is a nice little truck, wish i had the need for another right now.

    did you ever find a truck. if not i have another truck that was for sale in the last six months, don't know if it is still around but if i recall right, it was a 77- 79 3/4 ton 4wd. let me know if you are still lookin.

    from what I understand the 302 ones can get real good mpg too. I would go that route myself, for what your wanting. I personally like the 400/351m versions, but they get 10mpg. The 460 will get about the same stock. Now the 300 is a allright motor, but they can have problems. I would go with a 302 if mpg and longevity are your concerns. 300 is exspensive if it has failures, and it may have low end torque, but it has no upper rpm hp. I will see what I can find. Check out mountain trader kalispell on google.

    Thought I would maybe help you find a truck if you want. I live in the kalispell area. what type of truck are you looking for 2wd, or 4wd. What is your goal for the truck. Doing any towing or just fun and running.
